Joseph Legal ILP is a boutique commercial and civil litigation practice founded by Francis Joseph.

Francis advises businesses, company directors and professionals in relation to commercial disputes, providing strategic legal advice from the earliest stages of a matter through to negotiation, mediation and, where necessary, litigation before State and Federal Courts. His experience includes, but is not limited to, disputes involving contracts, construction, property, shareholder and partnership matters, insolvency, intellectual property and torts including defamation.

The practice was established on a simple principle: legal advice should be practical, commercially informed and tailored to the client's objectives. Every dispute is different. Rather than applying a standard approach, Joseph Legal works closely with clients to understand the commercial realities of each matter and develop a strategy that protects their interests while remaining focused on achieving the best possible outcome.

Meet Francis Joseph

Francis Joseph was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland in 2015 and has practiced exclusively in litigation and dispute resolution since 2019. He has acted in a broad range of civil and commercial disputes across State and Federal Courts, including matters involving complex commercial claims.

Francis has advised and acted on behalf of ASX listed companies and foreign governments in litigious matters.

He is known for his pragmatic approach, strong commercial understanding and commitment to helping clients navigate difficult disputes with confidence.
